A Purrrfect Proposal...

I had just gotten home from work and I was fuming about a car that had almost hit me. I came in the door of our apartment and couldn't see anything - we were packing to move to a new place and it was a maze of boxes everywhere. I heard Geoff, my fiance, tell me that something was wrong with our cat, Tex. Already irritated, I went searching for the cat amongst the boxes. I expected to find him sprawled out sick or limping, but instead I found him perfectly chipper looking. I picked Tex up to give him the once over and noticed something dangling from his collar. I looked closer and saw that it was a diamond ring - the very ring I had been ogling for months. I turned around and found Geoff down on one knee, asking me to be his wife. I started crying and said "YES!".
